Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
As we prepare for the new season, we also prepare our hearts for what's ahead. Whether your pain of grief is new to you or there are many years ago grief, there are still memories attached to your journey. Celebrating your loved ones life is crucial to your moving ahead and healing. They have a legacy that you must preserve and pass on! If we don't share the memories and tell the stories our loved one dies a second death! As with the dying leaves falling from the trees to promote new growth in the spring, our grief pain too will become softer and promote more joy and less pain.
