Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
By now you've realized that as your world as you knew it has changed with the loss of your loved one; the world around you continues to go on as if nothing has happened. Your grief journey begins a new chapter in your life and as with the seasons your grief will change. There are ways to assist you with your grief as you move into autumn.  Accepting your grief is a step forward toward healing.  Taking care of yourself now is more important than ever. Find comfort in nature and allow its beauty to surround you. Remembering that grief is normal and natural and give yourself permission to feel those emotions and celebrate with tears of love! Be gentle with you.
