Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
Today begins the daylight savings time turn. One just needs to watch the weather to get a good idea of what grieving the loss of a loved one is like. One day sunshine and warmth and the next day, cold, snow and wind! Up and down, happy and sad moments can mimic the weather. With daylight savings time we gain longer days of light and sunshine! We control our feelings and our mood; and with that being said, the weather can control our emotions and mood as well. However, we still should be the one in control! When we're able to express those feelings of how we feel, we can keep the sunshine bright no matter what mother nature says!
