Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
With the warmer weather of March our anticipation grows for the migrating birds to come home. The first Robin, Bluebird, Swallows and Killdeer can spark some joy. Moments of Joy bursts are so important as we travel down our road of grief pain. Along with Joy bursts we can also experience Grief bursts which can trigger out of nowhere when we hear a certain song, see something or feel something that takes us back to the memories of our loved one. Celebrate these Joy and Grief bursts! They are a friendly reminder that we loved and were loved! It's also a great time to get out and soak up that sunshine!
