Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 
March is here and with it comes spring weather. The weather in March can be unpredictable as with our grief. The ups and downs, good days and bad days along with grief bursts. Grief bursts are those moments when all is well in your day and out of nowhere comes a song, expression or thought of your loved one and you become a puddle. This is normal as we travel forward on our grief journey. For a moment, stop and look at your thumb. As everyone's thumbprint is unique and individual, so is your grief journey. There are no rules as to how to grieve. As long as you're not hurting yourself or other's it's your journey. Let’s enjoy March together!
