Music & Memories

Broadcast for Sunday June 30, 2024
Covering the deaths from June 30 – July 6, 2024

Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories.

This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program on KASM. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one.

Heading into July finds us with the July 4th Independence Day celebrations right there! Whether your loss of a loved one is new or has been a while, the pain may have become softer but is still present. New grief pain and a new normal may be right in your face now challenging your very being. This is where the new normal comes in. Getting back to a routine helps the healing process move forward. With each step forward you take, the steps forward become easier, thus the pain becomes softer. As you move ahead your loved one is right there beside you! Tell those stories and share those memories.
