Music & Memories Sunday, October 27, 2024

Broadcast for Sunday Oct 27, 2024
Covering the deaths from Oct 27-Nov 2, 2024

Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories.

This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one.

There is a crispness in the air. Halloween is approaching and is a reminder of all Hallows Eve, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day. All Saints’ Day is dedicated to all saints of the church and All Souls’ Day being dedicated to those who have died. We have been taught to honor our loved ones who have gone before us. We can celebrate and honor them by lighting candles, sharing stories and memories, visiting their graves and passing on their legacies. This is yet another holiday to endure but as you move forward through this holiday you may want to surround yourself with those who love you or spend some quiet moments alone. What would your loved one want you to do?
