Good morning and welcome to Music & Memories. 
 
This is Linda Sue, and I am the grief specialist at Patton-Schad Funeral Home. It is my pleasure to bring you this week’s program. This program is our way of reaching out to help families deal with those difficult days surrounding the death anniversary of a loved one. 
 

Wow! the January thaw has allowed us warm and sunny days to enjoy outside. When we talk about our grief journey it not only includes the emotions we are feeling it also includes our physical well-being. Being aware of our bodily needs like food, the proper amount of sleep, fresh air and sunshine are so important! These are very important to grieving in a healthy manner. Feeling loved and laughter are also very important to our well-being. As our feelings surface, you'd be surprised as to how you'd feel after taking a walk in nature and soaking up the sunshine. Call a friend and get outside to take advantage of the gifts mother nature is providing. Take Time for YOU!
