Yvonne C. Pieper, age 75 of Sauk Centre, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 15 at the United Methodist Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Lynda Ellis officiating.
Yvonne Pieper was born July 23, 1932 in Oxborough, Minnesota to Richard and Mildred (Hartman) Huebner. On April 2, 1971 she married Jack Pieper in South Dakota. The couple resided in Mounds View and Isle and for the past 12 years had made their home on Sauk Lake, near Sauk Centre.Yvonne had been employed by Honeywell in Minneapolis from 1956 to 1977. She was then a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker in New Brighton.Yvonne loved life to the fullest; always putting others needs before hers. She loved the lake, gardening, her birds and her pet dogs. She simply loved people, always wanting to be around friends and family.She was an actively involved member of the Paul F. Donart VFW Post 2853 in Sauk Centre.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Pieper of Sauk Centre; three children, Allen Carlson of Brooklyn Park, Jacalyn Carlson of Sauk Centre, and Hydie Hecht (James) of Pine City; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Arthur Huebner (Beverly) of Braham, Gloria Walsh of Arizona, Shirley Fish of Colorado, and John Huebner of Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Huebner; sisters, Adria Anthony, Geraldine Fisher, and Zona Huebner.
