Wanda L. Nathe, long time resident of Sauk Centre, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 27 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. James Statz officiating. Inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre.
Wanda Lorraine Carpenter was born October 28, 1918 in Sauk Centre to Gurdeon and Julia (Hartmann) Carpenter. She was united in marriage to Clarence Nathe on July 14, 1941 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre.Wanda was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.
She is survived by her four daughters, Barbara (Carl) Brandhorst of Fairfax, Virginia; Phyllis (Earl) Hoover of Apple Valley; Louise Nathe (Tim Rosaire) of Oakland, California; and Carol Jean (John) Petrovsky of Eagle, Idaho; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Gurdeon (Denise) Carpenter; and sister, Shirley Ogle.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Clarence J. "Jack" Nathe on February 17, 2002; parents; and brother, Rod Carpenter.
Cross bearer will be Kurt Brandhorst and scripture bearer will be Erik Hoover.Memorials are preferred to St. Michael's Foundation of Sauk Centre and Maryknoll Missions of Maryknoll, New York.
