Veronica Helen Kuefler was born May 10, 1910 in Lake George Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Mathias and Anna (Berens) Kuefler. She married Joseph Thelen in May of 1929 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Joseph died July 14, 1949. Fronie then married Joseph Nett on October 14, 1950 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fronie worked as a baker at the bakeries in Sauk Centre and Melrose.
Until Minnesota prohibited homemade food being served in public places, Fronie baked many delicacies for the people of Freeport. Following the recipes "in her head" she created many breads and rolls, including her specialty flavored items, like raspberry and orange rolls. Not only an excellent baker, Fronie's talent extended to painting. Daily, she would decorate sets of dish towels at Das Goldene Wohnheim. In her younger years, Fronie loved horseback riding.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport and the Christian Mothers.
