Timothy D. Kircher

Timothy D. “Tim” Kircher, age 58 of Grey Eagle, died peacefully Monday, January 21, 2019 at his home near Grey Eagle, Minnesota.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle with Kali Christensen officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Grey Eagle.

Timothy Douglas Kircher was born March 15, 1960 in Melrose, Minnesota to Douglas and Marlys (Marty) Kircher. Tim worked as an IR Technician at Arvig Communications for 34 years. He loved his job and the people that he worked with. He loved to be outdoors. Tim enjoyed mowing the lawn, gardening and canning, pan fishing, hunting and processing his own meats. Tim never missed an opening day for deer hunting. He also had two cats, which he loved.

Survivors include his fiancé, Norma Jacobs of Grey Eagle; daughter, Liberty Kircher of Melrose and her daughter, Leylah; mom, Marlys Kircher of Burtrum; sister, Melissa (Jerome) Koehn of Long Prairie; nephews, Tyler (Vonnie) Koehn and Josh (Tonie) Koehn; step-daughter, Jessica (Greg) Wenker; and step-grandchildren, Journey and Mac.

Tim was preceded in death by his dad, Douglas Kircher; and grandparents, Joe and Edna Marty and Anna and Warren Kircher.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
