Thomas C. “Tom” Weinmann, age 48 of Champlin formerly of Elrosa, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his home in Champlin, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 25 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa with Rev. David Grundman. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 24, at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, at the church in Elrosa.
Thomas Carl Weinmann was born September 4, 1971 in Belgrade, Minnesota to Joseph and Marie (Bieringer) Weinmann. He was a lifelong farmer of Elrosa and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, bee keeping, and horses. Thomas loved to spend time with his family, especially his nieces.
Survivors include his significant other, Lisa McGivern and her daughter, Charlie Lovejoy of Champlin; brother, Todd (Janet) Weinmann of Fargo, ND; and sister, Sarah (Arjun) Sandhu of Minneapolis; nieces, Kathryn and Erica Weinmann and Sofia and Vivian Sandhu; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marie Weinmann.
Serving as casket bearers will be Patrick Bieringer, Mark Felling, Mark Weller, Jeremy Nietfeld, and Duane Lieser. Cross bearer will be Sofia Sandhu and scripture bearer will be Vivian Sandhu. Lectors will be Janet Weinmann and Sofia Sandhu.
