Theresa Klapperich

Theresa V. Klapperich, age 97 of Sauk Centre died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 21 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Todd Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church Wednesday morning.

Theresa Veronica Lindeman was born September 11, 1912 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Bernard and Cecelia (Hansen) Lindeman. On June 24, 1935 she was united in marriage to William Klapperich at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Theresa and her husband farmed near Melrose from 1939 until retiring to a small hobby farm in 1959. In earlier years, Theresa loved to garden. She enjoyed canning and sharing the rewards of her garden with family and neighbors. Recently, Theresa enjoyed spending time crocheting. She was a wonderful person who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Theresa was a Christian Mother and a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Don) Finken of Sauk Centre; grandchildren, Bradley (Val) Finken of Fairbault, Dawn Marie (Tom) Stang of Sartell, Jolene (Mark) Finken-Eginton of Duluth; five great-grandchildren, Adam, T.J. and Jayme Stang, and Charlie and Izzy Eginton; great-great-granddaughter, Karsyn Stang; sisters, Alma Brownie, Beatrice Veeder, and Virginia O'Malley.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Klapperich on July 16, 1985; brothers, Michael, Aloysius, Casper, Joseph, Tony and John Lindeman; sisters, Mary Wenzel Bennight, Rose Miller, Abbie Doege and an infant sister.

Serving as casket bearers will be John O'Malley, Adam Stang, T.J. Stang, Lawrence Brownie, Albert Lindeman, and Virgil Niehaus. Cross bearer will be Jayme Stang and scripture bearer will be Tom Stang.
