Teresa Froseth

Teresa R. Froseth, age 79, of Sauk Centre, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at CentraCare Health Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 3 at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Marty Porter.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre.

Teresa Regine Wiener was born September 29, 1937 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Frank and Rose (Haskamp) Wiener. She married Loyal A. Froseth on August 22, 1959 in Osakis, Minnesota. Teresa worked at Schneekloth's Locker Plant in Sauk Centre in her early years. After, she worked at the Sauk Centre High School until her retirement. All of the kids at the school knew her as "Grandma T," and she loved to watch all of the students play sports. Teresa was the biggest sports fan you could meet. She cheered for many Minnesota sports team, from high school to professional. Watching her children and grandchildren's teams were the highlight of her life!

Teresa enjoyed swimming and drinking coffee with her friends every morning. She also spent a lot of her time at the Senior Dining Site to volunteer to serve lunch.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her children, Penny (Jarmin) Henry of Sauk Centre, Patty (Kenny) Arnzen of Sauk Centre, Michael (Jackie) Froseth of Sauk Centre, Brenda (significant other, Dave Hosek) Froseth of Forest Lake, and Paul (Paula) Froseth of Sauk Centre; 12 grandchildren, Dirk, Christopher, Jason, and Justin Henry, Devin and Kali Arnzen, Jeran, Alexus, and Coyrell Magnuson, Adam and Kyle Froseth, and Ella Froseth; four great-grandchildren, Cullen and Colie Henry and Olivia and Parker Magnuson; brothers and sisters, Paul Wiener, James Wiener, Rosemary Eveslage, and Alverna Mayer; and many other nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Loyal Froseth on July 3, 1998; parents, Frank and Rose Wiener; granddaughter; Erin Henry; brothers, Tony, Alphonse, Jack, Reuben, and Herb Wiener; and sister, Irene Gritzmacher.

Serving as urn bearer will be Dirk Henry and cross bearer will be Alexus Magnuson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Zion Lutheran Church building fund.
