Susan Rezac

Susan A. "Suzie" Rezac, age 53 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, March 13, 2010 at her home on Sauk Lake after a three-year battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Rev. Carlyn Cole will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Sauk Centre.

Susan Persons was born May 28, 1956 in Bertha, Minnesota to Harlan and Carol (Lambert) Persons. She was a 1974 graduate of Rosemount High School. On Jun 28, 1975 she married John Rezac in Lakeville, Minnesota. The couple resided in Lakeville and Kenyon, before moving to Sauk Centre in 1993. Sue was employed by First National Bank in Northfield and BlueCross BlueShield in Eagan. Since 2007 she had been employed by Country Cat in Sauk Centre.Sue enjoyed the outdoors, camping, gardening, riding Harleys and four-wheeling, playing Scrabble, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, collecting Betty Boop, and mostly spending time with Buster, the family cat.

Survivors include her husband, John Rezac of Sauk Centre; two daughters, Jessica (Jeff) Winter of Faribault and Angela Rezac of Faribault; mother, Carol Persons of Lakeville; sisters and brothers, Sharon (Scott) Stans of Shieldsville, Michael (Lisa) Persons of Rosemount, Debra (Duane) Laudahl of Burnsville, and Jon Persons of Northfield.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harlan Persons.
