Shaunia M. Zirbes, age 18, of Sauk Centre died Monday, November 8, 2004 at the St. Michael's Hospital, Sauk Centre from injuries received from a motor vehicle accident.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2004 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with the Rev. James Statz officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Shaunia Zirbes was born May 30, 1986 in Sauk Centre to Randy N. Zirbes and Trudy C. Wiener. She attended Holy Family School and Sauk Centre Junior and Senior High Schools. She was employed by DRS Acquisitions in Sauk Centre. Shaunia enjoyed hanging out with her friends. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, Sauk Centre.

She is survived by her father, Randy Zirbes (Renae) of Rugby, ND and mother, Trudy Wiener of Sauk Centre; brother, Thomas Zirbes of Sauk Centre; grandparents, Victor and Dorothy Wiener and Karen Zirbes of Sauk Centre; half-brothers, Kevin, Keith and Kory Zirbes of Rugby, ND.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roger Zirbes.

Casket bearers will be Mike Samelsberger, Danny Pettit, Steve Ostendorf, Andrea Egan, Andrea Tharp, Riley Smith, Ashley Quistorf and Tara Fortune. Cross bearer will be Thomas Zirbes. Scripture bearer will be Rob Wiener. Honorary bearers will be the Sauk Centre Senior Class.

Memorials are preferred.
