Sharon C. Zwilling, age 51 of Sauk Centre, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 5 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. James Statz officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Sharon Zwilling was born December 28, 1957 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Marcellus and Adeline (Schutz) Krueger. She was a 1976 graduate of Cathedral High School. On June 16, 1979 she married Patrick Zwilling at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. The couple resided in St. Cloud and she was employed at Norwest Bank in Sauk Rapids. In April, 1983 they moved to Sauk Centre, where she was employed at First National Bank. In 2000 the couple purchased Zwill's Corner Bar. Since 2005 she had been employed as an office assistant at Wayne Transports. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.Sharon was a cancer survivor and participated in the Relay for Life. She was an avid bowler for many years, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her special joy was her grandson, Breckin.

Survivors include her husband, Pat Zwilling of Sauk Centre; two sons, Scott Zwilling of Pierz, and Eric Zwilling of Barrett; one grandson, Breckin Patrick Penke-Zwilling; three brothers, Daniel (Mary) Krueger of New Munich, James (Barb) Krueger of Sauk Rapids, and Kevin (Kim) Krueger of Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Serving as casket bearers will be Keaton, Kevin, James, and Jason Krueger, Brian Bieniek, Roger and Josh Zwilling, and Andrew Williams. Honorary bearers will be Diane Hirman, Sharon Wyffels, Debra Zehrer, Patti Moritz, and Paul Zwilling. Cross bearer will be Daniel Krueger and scripture bearer will be Virgil Zwilling. Lectors will be Mary Kreuger and Rebecca Zwilling. Eucharistic ministers will be Dennis, Jean, and Jennifer Zwilling.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Family School Endowment Fund, Sauk Centre.
