Seth Wilson

Seth Peter Arnold Wilson, age 37 of Scottsdale, Arizona left his loving world on Tuesday, March 27, 2012.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 5 at First Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Kevin Born officiating.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Seth was born December 18, 1974 in Crookston, Minnesota to Jim and Vurnie (Hopwood) Wilson. He grew up in Crookston participating in various activities including, golf, hockey, and band. He graduated from Central High School in 1993. He began working at Minawaka Golf Course after 7th grade which fueled his love for being outside working in the dirt. In January 1997, he moved to Arizona where he worked at Superstition Mountain while obtaining his degree in Agronomy at Rutger's University in New Jersey. In August 2000, he transferred to Hawaii co-managing the development of Hokuli`a, a Jack Nicklaus designed course. He returned to AZ in 2002 and as an assistant Superintendent at Desert Highlands Golf Course. He began his landscaping profession in 2005 ending his career with Arid Images, his company.

Seth enjoyed spending his time with his beloved border collies, Payson & Bisbee, cooking, hiking, boating, gardening, flying, motorcycling, and his friends and family.

Seth is survived by Heather Vaughan Williams, his soul mate for the past 8 years, his parents Jim & Vurnie Wilson of Sauk Center, sister Sarah (Mike) Hartwig, his nephew Caleb and niece Natalie of Mayer, Grandmother LuVerne Hopwood of Sauk Centre, and Heather's mother Mary Williams of Anthem, Arizona, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

We take comfort in knowing that Seth lives on through those people fortunate to receive the donation of his organs. We will fondly remember his smile, dimples, kindness and wit.
