Sandra K. Hoeschen, age 42, of Sauk Centre died peacefully Sunday, November 9, 2003 at the St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Freeport with Rev. Roger Klassen, OSB and Rev. Julius Beckermann, OSB officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday from 8 to 10:30 am at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Sandra Hoeschen was born May 10, 1961 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Robert and Donna (Winter) Hoeschen. She graduated from Melrose High School. Sandy served in the U.S. Army. She was employed by Charlie's Caf+, Freeport; Trucker's Inn, Sauk Centre and Woodcraft Industries, St. Cloud. She enjoyed crafts and was a member of Catholic Aid Society.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Donna Hoeschen of Freeport; three children, Robert Konnight of St. Cloud, David and Laura Konnight of Sauk Centre; former spouse, Robert Konnight of Sauk Centre; sisters and brothers, Roxane Bienusa (Dean, Jr.) of Sauk Centre, Deb Hoeschen of Brainerd, Kenneth Hoeschen of Freeport, Keith Hoeschen of New Munich, Jason Hoeschen of New Munich; grandmother, Marcella Winter of Sauk Centre.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Winter; and Hubert and Mary Hoeschen.
Casket bearers will be Jeron Denk, Justin Hoeschen, Derek Bienusa, Ken, Keith and Jason Hoeschen.Cross Bearer will be Mandy Copa. Scripture Bearer will be Angie Hoeschen. Gift Bearers will be David and Laura Konnight.
