Ryan Toenyan

Ryan Edward Toenyan, infant, of St. Rosa, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Melrose Area Hospital.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 1 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa with Rev. Roger Klassen, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church in St. Rosa.Ryan Edward Toenyan was born March 23, 2010 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Survivors include his parents, Jason and Sarah (Zwilling) Toenyan of Freeport; his proud sister, Katelynn Toenyan and big brother, Nolan Toenyan, both at home; grandparents, Jerry and Betty Cichon of Little Falls and Claude and Susan Toenyan of Melrose; great-grandmother, Teckla Scegura of Holdingford; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ryan Edward was preceded in death by his grandfather, Francis "Sunny" Zwilling; uncle, Jeffrey Zwilling; cousin, Anthony Zwilling; great-grandparents, Edward and Marie Toenyan, Ludwig Scegura, Peter and Caroline Theisen, and John and Anna Zwilling.

Serving as casket bearers will be Ryan's Godparents, Janet Zwilling and Paul Toenyan. Serving as cross bearer will be Ryan's sister, Katelynn Toenyan. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
