Ryan Pflipsen

Ryan M. Pflipsen, age 25, of New Munich, died Friday, August 18, 2006 at his home in New Munich.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 21 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich with Rev. Roger Klassen, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m. Sunday evening.

Ryan Pflipsen was born October 1, 1980 in Albany, Minnesota to Michael and Marlene (Theiler) Pflipsen. He graduated from Melrose High School in 1999. He drove truck all his life and for the past 3 years he owned and operated his own trucking service. Ryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and hanging out with his friends. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich and St. Leo's Court Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Marlene Pflipsen of New Munich; sister, Kristie Schiffler (John) of Albany; brother, Bill Pflipsen (Kristin Hommerding) of New Munich; niece, Sophia Schiffler at home; grandmother, Mary Ann Pflipsen of New Munich; and godchild, Hanna Wiechman of New Munich.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don Pflipsen, and Clarence and Bernice Theiler.Serving as casket bearers will be Brad Lemm, Brent VanHeel, Jeron Theiler, Jamie Gilk, Brandon Pflipsen, and Cory Hanson.

Serving as cross bearer will be Hanna Wiechman and scripture bearer will be Lori Buttweiler.
