Rose Mary Rohe

Rose Mary “Rosie” Rohe, age 83 of St. Rosa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, Minnesota.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa with Rev. Dan Walz officiating. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Rose Mary Finken was born July 6, 1938 in Albany Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Conrad and Veronica (Wittkop) Finken. She married Harvey Rohe on May 6, 1961 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport. The couple lived and dairy farmed north of St. Rosa all their lives. Rose Mary enjoyed cooking for friends and family along with playing cards.

Rose Mary was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa and the Christian Women.

Survivors include her sons, Melvin of St. Cloud, Mike (Deb) of St. Rosa, Marvin (Michele) of St. Rosa, Dennis of St. Rosa, and James of St. Rosa; grandchildren, Dustin, Cody, Katie, Emma and Krystal; great-granddaughter, Lily; sisters and brothers, Alice Klasen of Melrose, Margie Engelmeyer of St. Rosa, David (Linda) Finken of Burtrum, and Ronald (Patti) Finken of Melrose; and many nieces and nephews.

Rose Mary was preceded in death by her husband; Harvey Rohe on July 4, 2020;  parents; brothers-in-law, Richard Klasen and Art Engelmeyer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
