Rose Mary A. "Rosie" Hinnenkamp, age 87 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday July 30, 2018 at the CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 1 at St. Donatus Catholic Church in Brooten with Rev. David Grundman officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church in Brooten.

Rose Mary Agnes Moscho was born March 14, 1931 in St. Martin, Minnesota to Nick and Rose (Kollman) Moscho. She attended country school in St. Martin until the 8th grade. On May 26, 1952, she married Hubert Hinnekamp at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin. The couple farmed north of Brooten and attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. When they retired, they moved to town and became members of St. Donatus Catholic Church in Brooten. Rosie cooked at Belgrade Nursing Home for many years.

Rosie was a member of the Red Hats Club, Widows Club, Christian Mothers, and Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing cards, bowling, cooking, baking for relatives and friends, and most of all, spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Debbie (Ken) Beste of Sauk Centre, Bonnie (Duane) Winter of Brooten, Bruce (Lois) Hinnenkamp of Brooten, Yvonne (Todd) Switajewski of Pine River, and Karla Edenloff of Osakis; 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia (Virgil) Fuchs of Paynesville; sisters-in-law, Betty Moscho of St. Martin, Leona Blenker of Melrose, Ida Pung of Melrose, Marcella Hinnenkamp of Melrose, and Jeanette Zehrer of Melrose.

Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hinnenkamp on April 23, 2007; son, Gary Hinnenkamp; parents; brothers, sisters, and in-law, Wilfred (Marie) Moscho, Marie (Al) Klassen, Irene (Edmond) Schulzetenberg, Katherine (Tony) Funk, Joe (Leona) Moscho, and Nick Moscho; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Moscho.

Serving as casket bearers will be Dylan Hinnenkamp, Chad Beste, Nick Hinnenkamp, Brian Beste, Tyler Switajewski, and Kelly Winter. Cross bearer will be Gina Engle. Honorary bearers will be grandchildren and their spouses.
