Ronald Maas

Ronald Maas age 67 of Sauk Centre, died Saturday April 5, 2008 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.

A "Celebration of Life" party will be held Saturday May 31, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post 67 in Sauk Centre.

Ronald Maas was born on April 6, 1940 in Kasota, Minnesota to Ernest and Adeline (Hanus) Maas. He married Joan A. Heckmann on October 21, 1961 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked as a mailer for the Star Tribune newspaper in Minneapolis until he retired in 1997.Ronald loved being outside and riding around on his golf cart. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Joan; children, Debbie Jo (Steve) O'Brien, Todd Ronald (Angie) Maas, Troy Donald (Christi Knudson) Maas; four grandchildren; brother, Jerry Maas; sisters, Sally Wiberg, Sandy (Dale) Anderson, and Vicki (Jim) Trettel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Adeline Maas; brother, Darell Maas and sister, Carman Maas.
