Ronald Edward Blenker, age 54 of Melrose, passed away at his home on Friday, November 18, 2011. He had left his wishes known.

A private family service will take place at a later date. Inurnment will be St. Mary's Cemetery in Melrose.

Ronald Edward Blenker was born August 10, 1957 in Melrose, Minnesota to Joseph and Marcella (Zinniel) Blenker. He married Kathleen "Kathy" Stangler on September 18, 1982 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa.

Ronald will be missed by his wife, Kathy Blenker; children, John Blenker of Alexandria and Jessica (Keith Kleve) Blenker of Melrose; grandchildren, Belle, Kara, Jace, and Sinavah; parents, Joe and Marcy Blenker of Melrose; brothers and sisters, Roger (Anna) of Melrose, Edward (JoAnn) of Watkins, Carol (Don) of Duluth, Mary (Jeff) of St. Cloud, Linda (Ken) of Sauk Centre, Karen (Arlan) of Swanville, Alice (Kevin) of Long Prairie, and Michael (Jacie) of New Munich; father and mother -in-law, Tom and Lucy Stangler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Betty (Terry), Harold (Brenda), Diane (Dennis), Michael, Tom, Jr. (Phyllis), Stephen (Becky), and Dan (Jeanna); and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
