Robert Uphoff

Robert C. "Robbie" Uphoff, age 35, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 2, 2015 at his home in Meire Grove, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Greenwald with Rev. Marvin Enneking officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Robbie was born January 31, 1980 in Melrose, Minnesota to Jim and Lee (Sames) Uphoff. He graduated from Melrose High School in 1998. He then went to work at Bernick's Pepsi in Waite Park, MN. Robbie moved to California for a couple of years before moving back to Greenwald. He worked as an inventory manager at area businesses.

Robbie was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Greenwald.

Survivors include his parents, Jim and Lee Uphoff of Greenwald; brother, Bruce (Carmen) Uphoff of San Marcos, CA; sister, Kristen Uphoff of Greenwald; grandmother, Fran Sames of Birch Lake; nieces and nephew, Michelle Uphoff, Savannah Finken, and Dominic Finken.

Robbie was preceded in death by his brother, John Uphoff; grandparents, Bob Sames, and Cel and Rose Uphoff.

Serving as casket bearers will be Kristen Uphoff, Jeff Uphoff, Chad Uphoff, Brent Niehoff, Jordan Maus, Mike Kerfeld, Bryan Yarke, and Kenny Hinnenkamp. Cross bearer will be Jolene Chung and scripture bearer will be Jenni Rademacher. Mass Servers will be Brooke and Braya Meyer. Gift bearers will be Dominic and Savannah Finken, and Michaela Uphoff. Eucharistic Minister will be Roger Welle. Reader will be Peter Van Beck. Honorary bearers will be Danielle Ehresmann, Jessie Klaphake, Allen Niehoff, Bob Uphoff, Bill Uphoff, Brian Lopau, and Deb Schneider.
