Regina H. Lambrecht, age 95 of Grey Eagle, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 15 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ron Tibbetts officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Sauk Centre.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle.

Regina Lambrecht was born November 8, 1912 in Keene, North Dakota to Frank and Emma (Gamradt) Tank. At 6 years of age, her parents purchased her grandfather's farm near Sauk Centre. She attended the McCormick Lake School and graduated from Sauk Centre High School. For several years she was a reporter for the Sauk Centre newspaper.On November 22, 1932 she married Edwin Lambrecht of Grey Eagle at the Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. They moved to the Lambrecht farm near Grey Eagle where they farmed and retired from farming. In 1989, they purchased the Walter Schwanke home in Grey Eagle. Growing flowers and vegetables, cooking, and canning were her hobbies.She was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Sunday School in Grey Eagle, St. John's Ladies Aid, Alter Guild, Senior Citizens and Homemakers group.

Survivors include her sons, Donald (Joan) Lambrecht of Freeport, and Carroll (Lorna) Lambrecht of Watertown, MN; 3 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Regina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin Lambrecht on June 23, 1996; brothers, Lawrence, Rudolph, Arnold, and Irvin Tank.

Serving as casket bearers will be Ron Lambrecht, Craig Lambrecht, Allan Tank, Jim Tank, Jon Tank, and Loren Tank.
