Regina Krebs

Regina C. "Jean" Krebs, age 84, died on Monday, November 28, 2011 at her home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Todd Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 2 at the Patton- Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Parish prayers will be held at 5:15 p.m. followed by the rosary led by the Christian Mothers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.

Regina C. Cramer was born on April 14, 1927 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John and Mary (Cornelisen) Cramer. In 1947 she was united in marriage to Dr. Earl A. Krebs at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany, Minnesota. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Benedict with a major in Fine Arts and a minor in Spanish completing her education with a Master's degree in Textiles. Jean was a lifelong resident of Sauk Centre. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, hardanger, reading, traveling, her computer and spending time with her family. Jean also enjoyed her winters in Pharr, Texas.

Jean was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, The Christian Mothers, The Embroiders Guild of America and the Professional Knitwear Designers Guild.

Jean is survived by her children, Mary Biersach of Brainerd, Dan Krebs and Pam McIntosh of Albany, Patty and Steve Domine of St. Cloud and Carol Thompson of Menomonie, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law Lisa Krebs of San Jose, California; 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Linda Earle and son David Krebs.

Serving as casket bearers will be: Bob Brezinka, Brian Domine, Ryan Engdahl, Adam Krebs, Jim Krebs, John Krebs and Noah Krebs. Cross bearer will be: Megan BiersachScripture Bearer will be Emily ThompsonIn lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
