Paul "Frankie" Engle

Paul S. “Frankie” Engle, age 69 of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, March 17, 2025 at his home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 21 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Jim Maderak officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Per the family’s request, there will be no visitation offered prior to the Mass.

Paul Steven Engle was born October 19, 1955 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Lester and Eleanor (Beste) Engle. Frankie owned and operated Engle Brothers Construction with his brother, Bruce Engle, for many years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Frankie enjoyed fishing, taking rides on his golf cart, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Engle; daughters, Amber (Jamie) Wolbeck and Krystal (Jordan) Webster; grandchildren, Coraline Webster, Dani Webster, Gaige Wolbeck, and Easton Wolbeck; brothers, Joe Engle, Lynn (Janet) Engle, Bruce (Laurie) Engle, Perry (Molly) Engle Dan Engle, and Roger (Carol) Engle; sisters, Paulette (Emil) Tabatt and Bonnie Tiemann; and many nieces and nephews.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marcus “Mick” Engle; uncle, Bobo Engle; brother-in-law, Tom Tiemann; and sisters-in-law, Karen, Kim, and Susan Engle.
