Olga attended elementary school in Zimmerman and graduated from Elk River High School in 1937. She then attended Twin City Business College, Minneapolis, and upon graduating was employed as a secretary at the University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus. Art and Olga operated it together as the Art Myrom Agency for 23 years, when they retired to their home on Juergens Lake in rural Sauk Centre. In January, 1989 they moved back to Sauk Centre due to Arthur's illness. With the help of St. Michael's Hospital Home Care, Olga lovingly cared for him at home during his final years.
