Monica J. Koetter, age 95 of Minneapolis, formerly of Freeport, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at Anoka Care Center in Anoka, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Freeport. Rev. Roger Klassen, OSB will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church on Friday one hour prior to the service.
Monica Josephine Koetter was born March 2, 1916 in Freeport, Minnesota to Math and Elizabeth (Meyer) Koetter. She was an administrative assistant in the prosthetics industry in Minneapolis.
Monica was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and the mission sewing group which sewed quilts for the missions.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers, Sr. Hilarion, Sr. Adelaide, infant Monica Ann, Joseph Koetter, Marie Dresbach, Norbert Koetter, Al Koetter, Lawrence Koetter, and Jerome Koetter.
Serving as casket bearers will be Mark, Ralph, Jerry and Rick Koetter, Kathy Jesh, and Jim Dresbach. Cross bearer will be Phyllis Holdvogt and scripture bearer will be Delores Thoma.
