They moved to a home in Freeport in 1995, where Milllie continued to be a very active member of the community.Millie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She was a wonderful support to the church and the school; always willing to volunteer her time to cook, bake, set up for events, or clean the church. She always showed up to any event with some of her wonderful baked goods.Millie loved quilting and making crafts, especially with her grandchildren. In her giving spirit, many of the quilts, crafts, and baked goods were donated to fundraisers. When Millie found time to relax, she enjoyed garage sales and shopping thrift stores.
