Mildred Muellner

Mildred M. "Millie" Muellner, age 86 of St. Cloud, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her granddaughter's home in Burtrum, Minnesota.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 6 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ronald Dockendorf officiating. A private inurnment will be held in the parish cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday morning at the church.

Mildred Marie Heinen was born June 6, 1932 in Millwood Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Henry and Elizabeth (Poepping) Heinen. On September 3, 1951 she was united in marriage to Ambrose Muellner at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. Millie was employed by Mister Donut, McDonalds, and many other places in St. Cloud. Millie and Ambrose have been snowbirds for 25 years, traveling to their home in Apache Junction, Arizona. They had traveled many places over their 67 years of marriage, from Germany to Hawaii, and to nearly every state.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Cloud, St. Anthony Christian Mothers, and St. George Catholic Church in Apache Junction, Arizona. Millie bowled for many years at Dee's Lanes and Granite Bowl in St. Cloud, and also bowled in Apache Junction. She also joined a pool league at Road Haven Resort for many years. Millie enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, and loved traveling abroad with her loving husband.

Survivors include her husband, Ambrose Muellner of St. Cloud and Apache Junction, Arizona; children, Juanita "Nita" (Bill) Nohner of St. Cloud and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Friese of Grey Eagle; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Kelly) McCarney and their children, Reese and Tyler, Jennifer (Rick) Johnson and their children, Kali, Emma, and Drew, Bethanie Friese and her children, Alexis and Mackenzie, and Heidi (Beau) Krueger and their children, Nyah and Meeli; sisters, Florence Tschida of Grey Eagle and Lourdine Berscheit of Grey Eagle; sister-in-law, Rita Heinen of Sartell; many nieces, nephews, relatives and lots of friends from both St. Cloud and Apache Junction.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond, Edwin, and Harvey Heinen; and sisters, Verena Wegleitner, Evelyn Muellner, Dolores Toeben, Marcella Ostendorf, and Jeanette Berscheit.
