Michelle Silvers

Michelle S. "Micky" Silvers, age 45 of Grey Eagle died after an eight year battle with breast cancer Tuesday, July 12, 2006 at Birchwood Hospice House in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, July 14 at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose with Robert Brophy officiating. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Grey Eagle at a later date.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 11 to 12 p.m. Friday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose.

Michelle Silvers was born December 12, 1960 in Downey, California to George and Inez (Peterson) Waldvogel. She graduated from Grey Eagle High School in 1979 and from St. Cloud Technical College in 1980 as an LPN. Michelle worked at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud for three years and in 1987 started working for Stearns County Public Health Department in St. Cloud. She was currently working as a financial worker at Stearns County Human Services in Melrose.

Survivors include her boyfriend, Jeff "Skunky" Hinnenkamp of Grey Eagle; brother, Randy Schwanke (Nancy) of Hutchinson; adopted sister, Jackie Hollenkamp; nieces and nephews, Pam White (Craig), Dan Schwanke (Kris), and Chris Schwanke (Tammy) all of Hutchinson; first husband, Ron Neuman; second husband, Donny Silvers; and her poodles, Annabelle and Abby.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Birchwood Hospice House in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
