MaryLou Sahli

MaryLou Sahli, age 90, of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 22, 2021, at CentraCare Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 30 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with visitation one hour before the ceremony. Burial will be at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

MaryLou was born February 9, 1931, in St. Clair, Minnesota to Everett and Lucille O’Brien.  She married Robert Sahli on November 22, 1950, in St. Clair. In 1953, MaryLou and Bob moved to Sauk Centre where they owned Bushey Drug and BenFranklin and raised their family. She returned to Sauk Centre in 2021 after many years living in Mankato, Minnesota.

She is survived by her sister, Audrey Murphy of Fairhope, Alabama; her children, Julia Kirk, Matthew Sahli, and Karen (Michael) Prasch; grandchildren, Dr. Jessica Kirk, Brian (Jenna) Kirk, Gage Sahli, Raven Sahli, Rebecca (Lucas) Weihe, and Jacob Prasch; and great grandchildren, Monte Kirk and Matilda Kirk.

MaryLou was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and son-in-law, Jode Kirk.
