Mark Ramacher

Mark P. Ramacher age 82 of Melrose, died Tuesday at the Melrose Area Hospital.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2003 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose with Rev. Vince Lieser officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Melrose with military honors by the Melrose Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home, Melrose.

Mark Ramacher was born on September 26, 1920 in Spring Hill Village, Minnesota to Peter and Mary (Louis) Ramacher. He served overseas in the U.S. Army in Normandy, Germany and France during WWII. He married Beatrice M. Dickinson on Nov. 5, 1951 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Melrose.Mark was employed by Melrose Country Club and then for Servatius as a bricklayer. He then was employed by Kraft Foods, Melrose retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He loved gardening and his dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Ramacher of Melrose.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.Casket bearers will be T.Z. Zimmerman, Roman Schulzetenberg, Keith Frank, Kevin Frank, Steve Toenies, Gary Ramacher.Cross bearer will be Kayla Terwey.
