Marjorie Hinnenkamp

Marjorie A. Hinnenkamp, age 81 of Sauk Centre, formerly of Melrose, died Saturday, January 15, 2005 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 19 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose. Rev. Vince Lieser will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. followed by Christian Mothers at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Marjorie Hinnenkamp was born September 2, 1923 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Henry and Theresa (Essler) Nugent. On June 21, 1945 she married Albert \Albe\" Hinnenkamp at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. The couple resided in Melrose and Marjorie was employed for over 30 years as a cook by the Melrose schools. Since 1999 she had resided at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. Marge enjoyed bowling and playing bridge.

Survivors include two children, Maurice Hinnenkamp of Coon Rapids and Nancy (Jim) Enright of West Lake Village, California; five grandchildren, Leslie Ross, Shawn Enright, Amber Shotland, Melissa and Jessica Parks; four great grandchildren, Emma and Allie Enright, Aidan Shotland and Andrew Ross; sisters and brother, Rose "Mux" Walker of Sauk Centre, Gladys Moore of Circle Pines and Gene Nugent of St. Cloud; and son-in-law, Larry Parks of Inver Grove Heights.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albe Hinnenkamp on June 27, 1995; daughter, Marcia Parks; two grandchildren, Greg and Ryan Hinnenkamp; sister, Marion Rosdahl; brother, Francis Nugent; and daughter-in-law, Kathryn Hinnenkamp.

Serving as casket bearers will be Larry Parks, Barry Walker, Doug Moore, Jay, Richard and Howard Hinnenkamp. Cross bearer will be Jessica Parks and scripture bearer will be Melissa Parks. Honorary bearers will be Christian Mothers.
