Marie Rademacher

Marie P. Rademacher, age 88, of Melrose died Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 19 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose with Rev. Vince Lieser officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 to10 a.m. Wednesday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Christian Mothers will pray at 6:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:30 p.m.

Marie Rademacher was born August 25, 1917 in Melrose Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Ben E. and Catherine (Hemmesch) Otte. She was united in marriage to Norbert Rademacher on July 17, 1945 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Melrose. The couple lived in Melrose where they raised their children. Marie was employed at St. Mary's School as a cook for a number of years. She served as the caretaker of St. Patrick's Catholic Church for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose and the Christian Mothers.

Survivors include her children, Carol Trisko and her husband, Richard of Sauk Centre, Jerry Rademacher and his wife, JoAnn of Melrose, Alan Rademacher and his wife, Alice of St. Cloud, Janet Rademacher of Melrose, Dennis Rademacher of Melrose, Neil Rademacher of Willmar, Steven Rademacher and his wife, Brenda of Melrose, and Joan Terharr and her husband, Mark of Santee, CA; 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Irene Tiemann of Melrose, Casimir Otte and his wife, Irma Sauk Centre, Anna Mae Denne of Melrose, Bonita Mickels and her husband, Clarence of Moorhead, Joseph Otte of Melrose, and Betty Dickhaus and her husband, Vernon of Melrose.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norbert; children, Judith and Daniel; granddaughter, Marion Marie Rademacher; and sisters, Catherine Otte and Sister Edna Otte, O.S.B.

Serving as casket bearers will be Mark Trisko, Dale Trisko, Joel Trisko, Scott Rademacher, Eric Rademacher, Chad Rademacher, Holly Dudek, and Briana Rademacher. Serving as cross bearer will be Sara Rademacher and scripture bearer will be Brittany Rademacher. Honorary bearers will be the Christian Mothers. Gift bearers will be Stephanie and Kevin Rademacher. Lector will be John Trisko. Petitions will be read by Dan and Curt Trisko.
