Marie Lindeman, age 81 of Sauk Centre, died Thursday, November 25, 2004 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with interment following in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5:15 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Marie Lindeman was born December 20, 1922 in Lebanon to Richard and Wadeea (Ghattas) Baood. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1955. On October 8, 1970 she married Donald Lindeman at St. Mark's Catholic Church in St. Paul. The couple farmed in Ashley Township, Stearns County. They retired in 2002 and later that year moved to St. Michael's Nursing Home. She was an excellent hostess, who enjoyed serving people, as well as, taking walks and going for rides. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Survivors include sister, Julie Tackla of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, Farid Baood of Brazil; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Norbert Lindeman (Dorothy) of Sauk Centre, Albert Lindeman (Myrna) of Avon, Howard Lindeman (Janet) of Nelson, Vernon Lindeman (Barbara) of Chanhassen, Lorraine Kollman and LeRoy Wolbeck, both of Sauk Centre and James Armstrong of Brook Park; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Lindeman on February 14, 2004; brothers, Joseph, Sam, Najeeb and Khalil Baood; sisters, Suria and Rose Rizk; sisters-in-law, Erma Armstrong and Irene Wolbeck; and brother-in-law, Ronald Kollman.
Serving as casket bearers will be Keith and Duane Lindeman, Rick Cline, Mark Kollman, Lee Wolbeck and Corey Donat. Cross bearer will be Cheryl Cline.
Memorials are preferred to Holy Family School in Sauk Centre.
