Marian S. Reynolds, age 84 of Sauk Centre, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 19 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Jeremy Theis officiating. Private inurnment will be held in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Marian Susan Wiener was born November 18, 1929 in Elrosa, Minnesota to Walter and Kathryn (Haider) Wiener. On November 13, 1955 she married Eugene B. Schlotfeldt and they had four children, Brenda, Bryan, Beth, and Barb. She was widowed in 1968. In 1973 she married Charles Reynolds, who had three children, Janet, Sandra, and Chuck. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles "Chuck" Reynolds of Sauk Centre; their blended family, Janet (Lynn) Engle, Sandra (Barry) Evans, Brenda (Kevin McCauley) Fiereck, Bryan (Teresa) Schlotfeldt, Chuck (Debi) Reynolds, Beth (Dan) Watson, and Barb (Duane) Pettit; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Verena Pauly, Gerald Wiener, Florence Lieser (Ambrose) Dingmann, and Marcy (Ralph) Klassen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gene Schlotfeldt; and one grandson.
Serving as casket bearers will be Ken and Nathan Reynolds, Jeremy Evans, Tim and Chris Engle, Cole Watson, and Daniel Pettit.
A contribution made to Catholic Charities in Marian's honor is a wonderful way to commemorate her life.
