Marian I. Lambrecht, age 87 of Long Prairie, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the Long Prairie Nursing Home.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15 at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle with Rev. Gerold Goetz officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Grey Eagle.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle.
Marian Lambrecht was born June 15, 1919 in Burleene Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Charles and Florence (Oliver) Morrow. She married Alvin A. Lambrecht on April 19, 1938 at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. The couple farmed for 21 years in Todd County. She worked at Super Valu for 28 years and then at Donny's Warehouse in Long Prairie as a clerk. The past two years she resided at the Long Prairie Nursing Home. Marian was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Long Prairie. She enjoyed crocheting, music, walking, and taking care of her children.
She is survived by her children, Vonda Mueller of Long Prairie, Phillip Lambrecht and his wife, Bonnie of Arden Hills, and Paul Lambrecht and his wife, Sandra of Grey Eagle; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and sister, Twyla Yort and her husband, Donald of Pioneer, CA.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Lambrecht on December 11, 1993; and brother, Darwin Morrow.
Serving as casket bearers will be Don Lambrecht, Jerry Pohlmann, Jacob Lambrecht, Todd Lambrecht, Ryan Lunser, and Jared Mueller.
