Margaret Prozinski

Margaret C. "Maggie" Prozinski, age 94 of Grey Eagle died Saturday, May 8, 2004 at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Arlie Sowada officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Grey Eagle Township.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle.

Margaret was born on June 8, 1909 in Padua, Minnesota to George and Mary (Meagher) Marty. Margaret married Herman Kutter on March 1, 1930. The couple farmed in the Grey Eagle area. Herman died in 1961 from a tractor accident. Margaret later married Al Prozinski in 1966. Al then died in 1982. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle and the Christian Mothers.

Survivors include her daughter, LaVonne Heffron and her husband, Larry of Grey Eagle; 20 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister and brothers, Rose McDermond, Hubert Marty and his wife, Mary and Gene Marty and his wife, Shirley.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Marty; first husband, Herman Kutter; second husband, Al Prozinski; children, Wanda Seafeldt, Donald, Norman and Herman Kutter, Jr.; one great-grandson; brothers and sisters, George, Jerome, Louie, Mike and Charles Marty, Mary Jacobs, Nora Ferral and Nita Donut.

Serving as casket bearers will be Lonnie Heffron, Loren Heffron, Kelly Kutter, Jacob Heffron, Dave Tschida and Matt Tschida. Serving as cross bearer will be Julie Tschida.
