Lynn Peschel

Mr. Lynn R. Peschel, age 61 of Saint Cloud, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at the Saint Cloud Hospital in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose with Rev. Vincent Lieser officiating. Inurnment will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Grey Eagle at a later date.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose. Daughters of Isabella and Christian Mothers will pray at 6:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Lynn Robert Peschel was born May 9, 1947 to Robert and Hazel (Harris) Peschel. He graduated from Grey Eagle High School in 1965 and also received degrees from St. Cloud State University and St. Cloud Technical College. Lynn held various jobs throughout his life, but most recently volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital and the St. Cloud YMCA.

Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Steven (Katie) Peschel of Plymouth, Rosanne Peschel of Minneapolis, Marilyn (Jim) Bigalke of Hudson, Wisconsin, and David (Carla) Peschel of St. Cloud; nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, friends, and care givers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Peschel on September 29, 1988; and mother, Hazel Peschel on July 25, 2006.
