Lucille Kazlauckas

Lucille M. Kazlauckas, age 92 of Sauk Centre, died February 7, 2009 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 11 at Lakeshore Estates in Sauk Centre with Rev. Lynda Ellis officiating.

Lucille Maria Kazlauckas was born July 4, 1916 in Marinette, Wisconsin to Edward and Edith (Peterson) Christensen. On October 31, 1942, she was united in marriage to Victor J. Kazlauckas at the Methodist Church in Marinette, Wisconsin. Lucille raised her children and spent most of her married life in River Falls, Wisconsin. After her husband's passing in 1997, she moved to Sauk Centre.Lucille enjoyed working on various handicrafts, playing cards and BINGO, going on trips to the casino and playing slot machines. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in River Falls, Wisconsin. She was also a member of the Evening Circle of the Methodist Church and the River Falls Senior Center.

Lucille is survived by her children, Don (Norma) Kazlauckas of Loveland, Colorado, Jim (Nancy) Kazlauckas of Sauk Centre, and Judie (Wayne) Stromley of Greenwood, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Mike (Angel) Stromley, Melissa (Mic) Garlock, and Robert (Carole) Trousas; five great-grandchildren, Logan Stromley, Samuel Burch, Jr., Zachary Burch, Nicole Trousas, and Dalton Trousas; sister, Mildred LeMere of Sister Bay, Wisconsin.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Kazlauckas on July 26, 1997; parents; bothers, Arnold Christensen, Donald Christensen, and Raymond Christensen; and sisters Evelyn Brendemihl, Pearl Christensen, Janet Londo, and Ruth Pitz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Michael's Foundation.
