Lucille Egan

Lucille K. Egan, age 84 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully Sunday, December 8, 2013 surrounded by her family at CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 12 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Tim Wenzel will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be led by Deacon Tom McFadden at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Lucille Katherine Weber was born June 10, 1929 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Leo and Mary (Tillman) Weber. On November 26, 1946 she married Wallace "Wally" Egan at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. She worked at Fingerhut, Sauk Centre Public Schools, and St. Michael's Hospital. She was also the bookkeeper for her husband's business, Wally's Body Shop and worked part-time at the Burger Hut. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, crocheting, playing cards and spending time with family.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and a former member of St. Michael's Hospital Auxiliary, Sauk Centre Seniors and Paul F. Donart VFW Post 2853 Auxiliary.

Survivors include six children, LeRoy Egan of Elrosa, Kathy Banke of Sauk Centre, John (Bernice) Egan of Sauk Centre, Sue (Steve) Peterson of Sauk Centre, Mary Egan of Sauk Centre, Lisa (David) Otte of Sauk Centre; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Julianna Trisko of Sauk Centre.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wally Egan on January 13, 1990; children, Raymond and Edmund Egan; son-in-law, Jeff Banke; brothers, Julian, Arthur and Louie Weber; sisters, Emma Eckberg, Mary Barhorst, Leona Pfeffer and an infant sister.

Serving as casket bearers will be Seth Otte, Grant Peterson, Brent Egan, Aaron Banke, Larry Trisko and David Weber. Cross bearer will be Lois Stueve, scripture bearer will be Shonna Banke, gift bearers will be Bernice Egan, Dave Otte and Steve Peterson, and lectors will be Ali Peterson and Lindsey Egan.
