Louise Frank

Louise E. "Lou" Frank, age 92 of Sauk Centre, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with interment following in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Louise Hanrahan was born March 23, 1919 in Fridley, Minnesota to William and Louise (Nadeau) Hanrahan. In 1939 the family moved to Sauk Centre. On June 17, 1941 she married Michael Frank at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. She had been employed at the Sauk Centre Clinic, the Main Street Theatre, and the Sauk Centre Herald.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Christian Mothers and was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.Lou enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge and cribbage, drives in the country, knitting, collecting recipes, and baking.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Michael "Mike" Frank of Sauk Centre; three children, Mary (Roman) Kulzer of Sauk Centre, Michael (Sandi) Frank of Sauk Centre, and Kathryn Frank of St. Cloud; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Irene Hanrahan.

Serving as casket bearers will be Gerard and Jeff Kulzer, Marcus and Jacob Frank, Maria Stommes, and Tricia Schmitz. Cross bearer will be Timothy Kulzer, servers will be Andrew and Theo Kulzer, and lectors will be Karen and Carin Kulzer.

Memorials are preferred to St. Michael's Hospice and Holy Family School.
