Louis Katzner

Louis J. Katzner, age 70 of Albany, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 4 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany with Rev. Cletus Connors, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Seven Dolors Gathering Area. Parish prayers will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Seven Dolors Gathering Area.

Louis Jerome Katzner, Jr. was born June 15, 1944 in Albany, Minnesota to Apollonia "Lonie" (Bohmer) and Louis Katzner, Sr. He graduated from Albany High School in 1962 and worked for the Jennie-O Turkey Store for many years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 through 1966. Louis enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his sister, Ruth Ann Miller of Albany; and brother, Linus Katzner of Underwood; and many nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albin Katzner on May 7, 2014; and brother-in-law, Ralph Miller.
