Lisa A. Schoenberg, age 50 of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 surrounded by her family at her home in Spring Hill, Minnesota after a courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill with Rev. Marvin Enneking officiating and Rev. Omar Guanchez and Deacon Stephen Arnold concelebrating. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Lisa Ann Weber was born December 14, 1961 in Melrose, Minnesota to John and Rosemary (Gerads) Weber. She graduated from Belgrade High School in 1980 and then graduated from the St. Cloud School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 1983. On August 6, 1983 she married Mark Schoenberg at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa. Lisa was employed at the Paynesville Hospital her entire nursing career.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill and the Christian Mothers. Lisa enjoyed golfing, softball, playing cards, traveling, and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Schoenberg of Spring Hill; daughter, Greta Schoenberg; parents, John and Rosemary Weber of Belgrade; brother, Tom Weber of Belgrade; and sister, Brenda (Brian) Schoenberg of Avon.
Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Juliana Gerads and Frank and Frances Weber.
Serving as urn bearer will be Jake Schoenberg. Cross bearer will be Emily Schoenberg and honorary bearers will be the Christian Mothers.
