Lillian E. Kutter, age 90, of Grey Eagle, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Melrose Area Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 5 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle, with Pastor Ron Tibbetts officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday, March 4 from 4 to 9 pm at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle and Saturday one hour before services at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle.
Lillian Kutter was born August 30, 1914 in Grey Eagle, to George and Rose (Noyes) Harris. She was united in marriage to Adolph F. Kutter on October 28, 1936 in the Grey Eagle Telephone Office. Lillian lived in the Grey Eagle area and was a homemaker all her life. Her married life to the present was at the Big Birch Lake Kutter Farm. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading and bird watching. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle and St. John's Lutheran Ladies Aid.
She is survived by her children Mary Kutter, of Grey Eagle, John Kutter and his wife, Beats, of Richmond, Roy Kutter and his wife, Sharen, of Melrose, Wayne Kutter and his wife Sharon, of Grey Eagle and Rev. Fred Kutter, of Richmond; sisters, Edith Kutter, of Grey Eagle and Hazel Peschel, of Melrose; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose Harris; husband, Adolph Kutter on October 23, 1994; and sisters, Carol Thompson and Bessie Young.
Casket bearers will be Tamara Von Wahlde, Kevin Kutter, Kristi Wiechmann, Sara Leyendecker, Jennifer Wiens, Peter Kutter and Ryan Kutter. Honorary bearers will be the St. John's Lutheran Ladies Aid.
